TERRASEM 4000 T starr
The additional support wheels have been replaced with a combined packer and chassis unit. The outer pairs of wheels are used for road transport. These can be fitted with brakes to ensure enhanced safety while travelling on roads.
The inside and outside wheel pairs are locked together in the field to distribute the weight of the drill evenly. The weight of the machine is therefore fully supported by all wheels at the end of each row. This is a system that protects the soil and prevents lasting damage due to compaction. Alternative leading tillage implements such as a short disc harrow or rotary harrow can also be supplied.
Rotary harrow or disc harrow
Leading tillage implements can be depth-adjusted hydraulically. The shares themselves are equipped with disc coulters. These rotating discs are serrated and dished inwards, each trailed by its own pressure roller. Each share is mounted on an independent parallelogram to ensure ultimate ground tracking. The depth of the seed can be set by adjusting the pressure roll. Each share can be applied with a hydraulic force of up to 80 kg.
TERRASEM machines are offered in standardline or profiline types with different comfortable handlings.
Exclusiv:
- Electronic drive and supervision for metering system for total seed volume accuracy.
- Seed is fed into the tubes before the tractor starts moving.
No "seed window", no reversing required before setting off. - Seed rate is not increased in the neighbouring drill. Up to 6 % seed can be saved.
- The seed volume and seed type are preselected from a menu, and then calibrated automatically.

Disc coulters for primary crop
The ball bearing-mounted, serrated dished disc coulters clear earth and trash away from the drill. The integrated Suffolk coulter draws a smooth, uniform-depth drill and places the seeds with a high degree of accuracy.
Two drills are drawn on each parallelogram.The coulters are individually spring-mounted to prevent stones getting caught.
The trailing Farmflex pressure rollers provide a perfect packing effect and uniform placement depth over the whole working width.
Heavy following harrows can be adjusted to the soil conditions in each case.
