Power in Action, Denham, Suffolk, England

This year’s site for Power in Action was the Denham Estate, a heavy land farm the ground conditions were not helped by very heavy rain the afternoon before the event, making conditions underfoot very difficult. Fortunately overnight and the following morning a good wind helped dry out the ground. This allowed demonstrations to get under way by the time the event opened at 10.00am.

Pöttinger UK were to be found operating a wide range of machines across three plots. Working with our local dealers Mark Weatherhead Ltd and Suffolk Agri Centre Ltd, we able to demonstrate a wide range of tillage techniques with Pöttinger machines.

On display from Pöttinger were the following machines:

The day generated a good amount of interest in Pöttinger machines with many sales enquiries being recorded along with requests for on farm demonstrations.
Every year the organisers of the event appoint judges to judge the ploughing carried out by exhibitors. This year it is pleasing to report that 1st place was awarded to Pöttinger UK Area Sales manager Richard Carr using a SERVO 45 S 5F plough. Our success did not end there as joint 2nd place was awarded to Pöttinger UK Brand Manager Shaun Groom using the SERVO 35 S plus 4F.
These terrific results rounded off a great day of demonstrations and interest in Pöttinger equipment for the Pöttinger UK team.
